ANGLESEA
When we got to Anglesea it was spitting and freezing. A few of us didn't go in the water so we sat on the sand and fought off bull ants. We tried different things all of which failed. We tried burying them in sand but they dug there way out. We tried standing on them but because the sand was soft it didn't work neither did trying to drown they. In the end we gave up and moved to another area. After everyone had finished in the water and had dried off, we all got on the bus and went to a scouts camp in Pt. Addis and participated in team building activities. The whole of year 9 were split up into teams of 16. I was with Alyce and people from 9 purple. One of the team building activities was where there was a swinging log and you had to get the whole team across the log three at a time without falling off or holding the log still. I fell backwards and the log hit my shin. Apart from that I had an enjoyable with a few challenges.

HORSE RIDING
This week I went horse riding at Blazing Saddles in at Aireys Inlet. The name of my horse was Minnie and she kept trying to be naughty. Sharnee got Mikkie, Minnie's brother and he was the same as Minnie and kept trying to be naughty. We went on an hour and a half long trail ride through the bush. We walked, trotted and a few of us tried a canter. I was going really well on the canter until Minnie stoped suddenly and I nearly fell of. Leanne was riding a Clydesdale and when it cantered one of its passes was about four of our horses so she was struggling. When we got back we took some photos and thanked the two instructors who took us on the ride. When we got back on the bus we had lunch. When I woke up on Thursday I was so sore its not funny. I have a bruise on the inside of each les from the saddle. Apart from being sore I had a really fun day and I am considering of doing horse riding as my major challenge at the end of the term.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDING
This week fro Connections i went mountain bike riding at the You Yangs. I thought that it was going to be easy but I was vwry wrong. There was a lot of uneven ground with bumps, potholes, gravel and sand in some areas. I had trouble keeping up with the group but Mrs.T stayed behind me on the entire bike ride and kept encouragine me. In some areas in the track there were jumps made of dirt and wood. Towards the end of the ride we stoped at an area with a lot of large jumps. Mr. G attempted to clear one but when he was in the air the chain came off his bike and he stacked. When we got back we had lunch and most of the group went to other activities. There was six of us left and we ast in Mr. G's car to get out of the heat and listened to the radio while we waited for thebus to come and get us. I had a really enjoyable, fun and challenging day but I don't think that I'll do it again in the same sort of weather.
